Insurance Operations Manager

The Role:

At Súper we strive to make the insurance process as efficient as possible for our clients. We build simple, affordable products, and service our clients digitally from beginning to end. Customers can do everything online: get a quote, issue a policy, manage changes and even file claims.

We take the same approach to operations: we're building automated systems for reporting, analytics and conciliation.

As Insurance Operations Manager you will make sure our book of business is managed effectively.

Primary responsibilities

  • Report to and from insurance companies.
  • Inter-company conciliation of policies issued, cancelled, premiums (issued and earned), and commissions.
  • Manage the claims process for Súper.
  • Reconcile premiums and commissions.
  • Manage group insurance books: include new insureds, cancel policies.
  • Propose new features for Súper's insurance operations systems (issuance, changes, claims, conciliation).
  • Extracting analytical insights from our day to day operations.

Your requirements:

Must haves:

  • Excellent Excel
  • Familiarity with SQL
  • 3+ years experience in insurance operations/reporting areas of mexican insruance companies
  • You are extremely tidy and methodic in most aspects of your life.

Nice to haves:

  • Experience with Looker or Tableau
  • Experience with version control workflows (git)
